Launch of the French wine tourism portal

Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, launched the wine tourism portal VISIT FRENCH WINE at a press conference on February 9th 2016.

This website provides a single gateway to access information on wine tourism in French and English. It promotes French wine travel destinations and underscores the importance of wine in the French art of living and French heritage.

Имена лауреатов конкурса "Paris French Tech Ticket"объявлены

В среду 2 марта в Париже стали известны имена 50 лауреатов конкурса Paris French Ticket , среди которых 3 россиянина, представляющих два стартапа:

 

 

1. Polywed во главе с Андреем Темляковым, который разработал технологию анализа данных, позволяющая улучшить эффективность лечения бесплодия. Polywed позволяет увеличить процент успешного завершения процесса искусственного оплодотворения (ЭКО).


2. TimeJoy – это приложение для смартфона, улучшающее производительность и помогающее деловым людям, находящимся в постоянном движении и ограниченным во времени, приходить вовремя на собрания и добиваться лучших результатов. Уникальная технология, объединяющая умный календарь и личного помощника . Технологию представляли Юлия Кропашева и Игорь Дмитриев.

Главной наградой конкурса стала стипендия в 25 000 € и возможность для талантов со всего мира создать свой стартап во Франции. Около 1 500 предпринимателей со всего мира заявили о своем участии в конкурсе.

В среду 2 марта в Елисейском дворце состоялся прием в честь стартапов и предпринимателей в сфере информационных технологий. Президент Республики встретился с пятьюдесятью лауреатами программы « Paris French Tech Ticket », которая была запущена в мае 2015. «В финале осталось пятьдесят иностранных предпринимателей, тогда как изначально мы получили 1372 заявок на участие в программе, которая должна будет помочь им построить свой стартап в Париже », объясняет Давид Монто (David Monteau), руководитель направления «French Tech» в Берси (Министерство Экономики Франции). Эта структура, созданная в 2013 году, проводит политику государства, помогающую молодым стартапам во Франции и поддерживающую их на международном уровне…

Усиление международной составляющей

По словам Давида Монто, главной целью « Paris French Tech Ticket » (PFTT) является увеличение международной составляющей в экосистеме молодых предприятий с высоким потенциалом роста. « Чтобы стартапы смогли стать крупными предприятиями, которые создают добавленную стоимость и рабочие места на нашей территории, нужно чтобы они выходили на международный уровень, а для этого нужно, чтобы даже их окружение стало международным », говорит он.  

Стипендия в 25 000 € и сопровождение

Программа «Paris French Tech Ticket» преследует цель не только привлечь международные таланты, но и создать образ Парижа, как динамичного города для создания стартапов. Для лауреатов программы будет упрощена процедура получения разрешения на временное проживание в течение трех лет: с помощью карты «компетенции и таланты».

Сама по себе программа длится один год и предоставляет стипендию 25 000 € на человека (до 3 человек на одно предприятие), бесплатное проживание в бизнес-инкубаторе, а также помощь предприятиям через обучение, благодаря добровольным наставникам. «Также существует личное сопровождение, рассказывает директор French Tech, чтобы помочь людям найти жильё. Средний возраст большинства предпринимателей тридцать лет.»     

По нашей информации, странами, представляющими наибольшее число заявок, являются по убыванию Индия, США, Россия, Бразилия и Египет.

Конкуренция с Берлином и Лондоном

Давид Монто уверен: Париж всё больше представляется за границей одним из сильных мест для развития стартапов на планете. «Конечно, он не сравним с Сан-Франциско, улыбается он. А нашими самыми серьезными конкурентами в Европе являются Берлин и Лондон.»

Несмотря на то, что британская столица находится немного впереди, благодаря своим финансовым возможностям и потому, что там всё началось раньше, чем в Париже, руководитель French Tech не теряет оптимизма: «Париж быстро набирает силу. Сравните объем инвестиций в рисковый капитал: он увеличился практически вдвое с 2014 по 2015 годы и приближается к 2 миллиардам евро.»

Программа PFTT продлится и в следующем году, надеется Давид Монто, и не будет ограничиваться только столицей, а распространится на всю территорию Франции.

French industry hits an all-time high at HANNOVER MESSE

French Pavilion showcases at world’s largest industrial trade fair include “industry of the future”

This year, Business France is once again organising the French Pavilion at HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s largest industrial trade fair, only with the new addition of a French Pavilion in Hall 8 (which will focus on “Industry 4.0”).

French companies specialising in industrial subcontracting, integrated plant, energy, production and processes, will present their products, technology and know-how, all themed around the “industry of the future”, to both German and international visitors at this major annual event, taking place on 25-29 April 2016.

Highlights of the trade fair include:

- A Franco-German day in cooperation with SAP, including a series of conferences, as well as guided tours of French and German exhibitor stands, with products and services focused on the “industry of the future” theme;

- A Franco-Japanese day in cooperation with JETRO, including presentations of French technologies and guided tours based on the “industry of the future” theme;

- A Franco-American day including B2B meetings between French and US companies and an opportunity for networking;

- Presentations on what French products services have to offer to Italian partners.

The French government currently offers customised support to French small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and major companies in their efforts to work towards the industry of the future. At the heart of industrial innovation and the economy, French mechanical engineering helps to address major challenges of the future: demography and consumption, sustainable development and mobility, communication and connectivity.

Today, priority is being given to:

- modernising industrial hubs;

- implementing the “Energy transition for green growth” act;

- steering the “Plant of the Future” plan by integrating and promoting the circular economy: eco-design, waste prevention, recycling, extending the life span of products.

Exhibitors on the French Pavilion can be found in the following halls: industrial subcontracting (forging, smelting, sheet metal working, machining), integrated plant / digital factory (production management, integrated processes and IT solutions), and power generation (supply, transport and storage of renewable and conventional energy).

For the first time, France will also be represented in Hall 8 (which focuses on “Industry 4.0”) at HANNOVER MESSE, showcasing French expertise under the Créative France banner in the following seven technological fields:

- digitalisation of the value chain

- automation, robotics

-  additive manufacturing

- monitoring and control

-  role of humans

- new materials

- green buildings

Various demonstrations and technologies will also be showcased by the Alliance Industrie du Futur (Industry of the Future Alliance), as well as by regions, large companies, SMEs and start-ups.

Other attendees at HANNOVER MESSE include:

- The Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine region (https://www.cr-champagne-ardenne.fr/Pages/Accueil.aspx), which boasts a particularly vibrant industrial hub and an economy that is very open to international markets. The region will be present at the French space dedicated to Industry 4.0 offered by Business France, along with the participation of around ten companies. These companies, selected in the context of the region’s Future Plant plan, offer innovative technological solutions to manufacturers to improve flexibility and connectivity.

- Orange Business Services (www.orange-business.com), entrusted with facilitating the digital transformation of major industrial players, is a benchmark operator for the Internet of Things (IoT). Boasting expertise in service integration and an ecosystem of partners, Orange Business Services helps businesses achieve their big data and IoT potential, driving growth and innovation.

- The SCS Cluster (www.pole-scs.org) is based in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in the South of France and was founded in 2005. The ecosystem is an international leader in the fields of contactless technology, networks, M2M and mobile services, digital security and identities.

It brings together more than 300 industry players including international industry leaders, research organisations, start-ups and 220 SMEs (220).

Thomson Broadcast demonstrates its system integration capability with recent Radio & TV complete transmission systems deals

United Arab Emirates; March 2016 — As one of the major systems integrator and transmission specialist, Thomson Broadcast has been awarded major contracts in 2015 for complete Radio as well as Television transmission systems deployments. Cabsat 2015 show is a good opportunity for Thomson Broadcast to demonstrate its system integration capability for analog and digital networks.

With the signature with the Moroccan public Broadcaster for a turnkey medium- wave radio transmission system while getting contracts signed in Uganda, Ivory Coast , Cabo Verde and Indonesia for large-scale DTT networks, Thomson Broadcast demonstrates its ability to provide Radio & Television broadcasting services while manufacturing transmission core equipment and developing software applications.

Many radio stations have been deployed by Thomson Broadcast in the past In Morocco, Thomson Broadcast has been recently awarded a governmental contract from the Moroccan SNRT(Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision) to deploy a new DRM ready high-power transmission system composed of 2 redundant 400KW units of its new S7HP neo transmitter line.  Thanks to its turnkey capability, Thomson Broadcast has also offered complete services including installation and commissioning, civil work and refurbishment of the feeder and the antenna tuning.

As a key technology provider, the new S7HP neo range provides the highest reliability while embedding latest innovations for the lowest cost of ownership. Uno dei momenti più salienti della manifestazione sarà il networking breakfast franco-italiano al Hall 8 stand A19, dove sarà presentata l’offerta francese. A margine nei giorni di salone saranno organizzati anche incontri franco-tedeschi in collaborazione con SAP, franco-giapponesi in collaborazione con il JETRO e franco-americani con incontri B2B tra le aziende.
